2x08 The Reality War

Turns out, if you get a friend to stream Disney over Discord in Chrome and disable the graphics accelerator, it can bypass Disney's DRM *Innocent whistle*

* The Doctor loves Yaz, nyah! Would love thoughts on when this Doctor is from. I am thinking pre Flux, but post Ryan and Graham. I adore my little socially awkward, emotionally repressed Doctor. *smishes* 12 & 13 were a big ol' trauma response.

* So I am imagining Billie is something to do with the Heart of the Tardis or The Moment 'blending' with the Doctor for a reason/objective and then leaving and allowing the Doctor to finish regeneration with a new face. I don't see them having the Doctor choose (?) the face of a lost love (several lost loves ago).

* Yes, making Belinda a mum all this time is a bit on the nose in the face of the whole Conrad's wish for women's place in society story. However, we support all women making whatever decision they make about how they live their lives. (It's more tone deaf writing and side lining a WOC again coughMarthacough) I also see folks are of the belief that Poppy didn't exist in the original timeline and that the Doctor's meddling made her Bel's reality. But I read it as she did and that the glitch was neither of them remembering those times Belinda spoke about her. (If so, is she really living in a share house with a toddler?) Also, why use the same actress as Space Poppy?

* Why was Ruby always the one to question reality?

* I am pissed they did nothing with the disabled rebellion. The issues surrounding this - services, housing, invisibility, are incredibly relevant right now, especially in my country too. I feel this could have gone way further instead of just making Ruby the magic white girl.

* And defeating the Big Bad in under five minutes again... what? Are they just showing off that Disney dough with the CGI? Also why can no one pronounce 'Omega'?

* Now that Mrs Flood has bi generated, and the 'next' Rani is gone, can she bi generate or regenerate again being the prior incarnation?

* Susan? ...Susan!?

* 'The Boss'...

* I adored Ncuti's Doctor, I will miss him. <3
